	Average Processing Time is determined by Shanghai government and provided here only for reference. No guarantee can be provided by us. If you need visa service, Please submit your paperwork at least 2 weeks in advance before your current visa expired so that we will have enough time to process it. Note: Shanghai law requires all international visitors (tourist or businessmen) to register their hotel or local addresses as temproary residence within 2 days of each visit. This can be done at the local police station or hotel (hotel registration is only valid with hotel stamp on the form). This Registration Form of Temporary Residence must also be renewed each time you leave China and come back or move to a new living place in order to remain valid. The Shanghai government will not process any visa application without a valid Registration Form of Temporary Residence. If you register yourself too late, you may be fined up to a maximum of 500 RMB. Alternatively, another smart way to get this form is check in a cheap Hotel for 1 night, then you can go to the hotel reception to register yourself and get this form. But don't forget to ask the hotel put their stamp on the form!
